Some electricians think it's saving time and money going straight into the device box with no loop. Well, IF anything happens to the wiring inside the box, ie. It gets nicked, broken or cut to short. If you leave service loops, an electrician can pull a little more wire into the box to make a solid connection with.

I have had drywallers cut my wires with rotozips in the past when they are placing Sheetrock over device boxes. This assures that I will have something to work with and not a huge fight/expense between trades and home owner

It's the home selling/buying season. Did you know that home inspectors are not qualified in electrical? While they may cite some CEC code rules and think there is a violation. They often are wrong, or completely miss major hazards. One good way to protect your family and upcoming investment, or increase chances of a sale, is to get a qualified electrical contractor like Malakwa Electric to do a dedicated electrical inspection.
Also, if your selling and there has been electrical modifications done, or it is an older mobile home with no affixed CSA sticker, you will need certification before MLS listing.
