Tatuk Lake is located approximately 80 km from Vanderhoof, B.C. The resort offers cabins, camp sites, boat rentals and opportunities for fishing, hunting, hiking, bird watching. The lake front location is spectacular. New owners Darryl and Kim.

To our valued customers, friends, and supporters of Tatuk Lake Wilderness Resort:
We are excited to announce that we have sold the business! The new owners took over on August 23.

Its been an incredible ride with moments of joy, excitement, seemingly insurmountable odds, and invaluable learning. Wed like to say a huge thank you to all of you who have supported us over these last seventeen years. We’ve so enjoyed serving you, and now call many of you friends. While this chapter ends, the bonds and memories we've created endure. We’d love it if you could share your favorite moments and stories with us as we close this amazing chapter of our lives.

Lance and Cyndi, Ken and I are remaining in the community of Vanderhoof that we have come to love, so will be seeing you around. In the meantime; I introduce Darryl and Kim Singbeil to you and hope you will continue to enjoy Tatuk Lake adventures in the future with them! We often get asked if we are pet friendly. YES! Meet a few of the "resort dogs". Mossey is no longer with us; but we enjoyed his visits with his parents; "Scott and Donna" when they'd come camping. RIP Mossey🐕

UNBC put up a weather station on our property a "few" years back. They come out every year to gather research and were kind enough to share a few pics and send a description of their work. Thought I'd share the pics and info:)

Below is a short info text about the equipment and research the Northern Hydrometeorology Group (NHG) at UNBC is working on:

The weather station and water temperature logger on your property contribute to the collection of data related to hydrometeorological processes of higher elevation watersheds in Northern BC. Research in this particular field is especially important in the face of climate change in order to gain a better understanding of small- and large-scale snow and ice processes.

The stream temperature logger in Otter Creek records the water temperature every 15 minutes.
The weather station has multiple sensors: some of the main variables being measured include air temperature, ground temperature, precipitation, relative humidity, wind speed and direction, snow depth and solar radiation.
