From October 16 to November 27th, work will be taking place at the roundabout entrance to our parkade on weekdays between 8:30am and 4:30pm.

Guests will still be able to access the parkade throughout this period. At times, access may be briefly limited or take a little longer than usual, so we recommend allowing some extra time when arriving or departing during these hours. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Meet Maureen Ness, our latest artist in residence at The Parkside. Working in oils, Maureen draws her inspiration from the West Coast scenery, blending realism and impressionism in every piece. Her work is on display at the hotel this month, so be sure to take some time to check it out!

"Every individual matters. Every individual has a role to play. Every individual makes a difference." — Dr. Jane Goodall

That's why our team is participating in the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada Hike for Hope - we want to play our part. We're putting our shoes on and turning every step into real, meaningful action. Your donation to our team's hike directly supports the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada's mission to amplify community-led actions and create a world where animals, people, and the environment thrive together.

Read a good book, put pen to paper, wander somewhere beautiful and make time for the things we don't always make time for at home.

September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We pause today to reflect on the history and lasting impact of residential schools in Canada, and to honour the resilience of Survivors, their families, and communities. This is a day for listening and learning, and we remain committed to carrying that forward, today and always.

Happy National Coffee Day! Wake up to something a little more thoughtful. We've refreshed the in-suite coffee experience by partnering with Tre Fantastico, so every stay now includes freshly roasted, freshly ground coffee, French press style, sealed in reusable glass jars and delivered daily. It's a small detail, but one we think makes mornings even better.

Today is World Tourism Day, a reminder of the impact travel can have when it is done with intention. At The Parkside, we are proud to offer a values-aligned space for travellers who care about where they stay and how they move through the world. However you choose to explore this city, we are glad to be part of your memories in Victoria.
