tv show from your past (we have movies dating back to the early 1900's), come check out our selection. Ask our staff and we'll see if we can get it in - we love suggestions! Our staff are all movie lovers themselves and their tastes covers all genres. There's no such thing as a guilty pleasure or movie snobbery here.

I love films from the 1930s. And I love a good swashbuckler. This take on the Scarlet Pimpernell from 1934 is one of my favourites...but sadly hard to see as for years the only versions available in North America were *horrible* garbage public domain copies which were almost impossible to watch and enjoy.

But now there's this. A legit free streaming version on YouTube that looks fantastic!
I can finally direct people to this wonderful gem.

Just saw 's THE BRIDE! at .
I loved it and found it bold and inventive. I think many others will disagree..lol. it is definitely an audacious directorial debut that maybe isn't for everyone.
..and that's too bad. It's a film that follows its own star and (i think) greatly rewards anyone who is up for a cinematic challenge.

Go see it on the big screen. It is definitely a theater going experience and its larger than life lunacy needs to be witnessed as grand as possible.

8.5/10 from me, but what do I know? 😀
