After 11 years at Long Beach, Lake Erie continues to surprise us. After the crazy storm last week, we have much LARGER beach area. The ice is gone - the lake is warming, and the return to long stretches of sand is exactly what our souls need. Woo-hoo! And now.... let's get that border open!

Lake Erie has been very active this fall. We lost the beach steps (as did most people along the beach). Spring cleanup will be busy this year. The good news - new beach steps are on the way! See you all soon.

Summer season opens in four days. Is it just me, or does it seems like summer was never going to come this year!?! Had some inquiries regarding the water levels. They are high (surprise!)... but we STILL have a beach! Whoo-hoo... let the LONG WAITED summer festivities begin!!!!!

UPDATE FROM OUR GUESTS... apparently VISA is not accepted in several of the stores in Port Colborne. I know Walmart has started to refuse VISA in some stores due to high services charges, and other shops are following suit. You may want to verify with the cashier before you gather your purchases... or bring a MasterCard JIC.
