Visitor safety is a priority for Parks Canada. Drive carefully and obey speed limits.

⛔ATTENTION: Area Closure

Due to unsafe road conditions, access to the Kingsmere Road north of the Hanging Heart Lakes will be closed until further notice effective April 23, 2026. The closure includes the Kingsmere River day use area and Kingsmere River boat launch.

⚠️Visitor safety is a priority for Parks Canada and is a shared responsibility. Parks Canada only closes roads when absolutely necessary, when conditions present a risk to human life. When roads are closed, barricades are used for the safety of visitors and motorists, including foot and bicycle traffic. Going into closed areas is unsafe and illegal.
