Paint Lake Camp Paint Lake Camp Paint Lake camp is located 40 miles north of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. The camp is 40 miles north of Wawa, Ontario.

To get there you travel the length of Michigan on I-75 until it runs into the Canadian border. After crossing the border into Canada, you travel 200 miles north along the shore of Lake Superior. It is accessible by vehicle but does not have electricity. Instead, it is equipped with gas lights, gas stove and a gas refrigerator. Paint Lake is plentiful with Northern Pike and Walleye. There are also

many other lakes and streams close by that you are welcome to fish in. This is definitely a place to get away from the stress of modern live without really roughing it. Forget phones and internet but instead concentrate on relaxing and enjoying the scenery and wildlife.
