Are you looking for a Canadian fishing lodge? You found us. Welcome to Whitefish Lodge. Get ready for some great Canadian Fishing. We are located just 30 minutes away from Wawa, Ontario, at the end of Whitefish Lake Rd, which is 5 kilometers off Highway 101. We have 10 modern furnished private log cabins that are set up for your extended stay with everything you need in the full kitchens. If there is anything else you need, we can most likely get it for you. You won't believe the views from your private front deck. Whitefish Lake offers great fishing including: Walleye (also called Pickerel), Northern Pike, Whitefish, Small mouth Bass, Perch, Lake Trout and Brook Trout. Situated in the heart of the Ontario Michipicoten River Wilderness, Whitefish Lodge is your home away from home. Complete with all amenities. The Lodge and all cabins have free Wi-Fi internet access. We are located directly on Whitefish Lake with access to over 35 miles of the Shikwamka/Michipicoten River system including Manitowic Lake that offers hundreds of miles of pristine unspoiled shoreline. Launch your boat right at the lodge or we offer boat and motor rental. If hunting is your interest, we offer Bull, Cow and calf outfitter tags, Spring and Fall Bear Hunts, World Class Grouse hunting and both Fall and Winter Wolf Hunts! See our hunting page or call us for details. Sightseeing is a must at Whitefish Lodge and many waterfalls, cliffs and panoramic views are waiting to be discovered. Don't forget your camera. We would love to have our guest email us some of their favorite photos to share with others who look at this site. August is a great month for families with the temperatures in the mid 70's. The water is warmer this month, than any other. Kids and adults alike love to fish for Walleye right off the dock. Bring your bikes and ride along the 5 km private road. August is also the BEST time for Blueberries. There are enough to keep you busy picking for your entire stay. The kids will love them in the pancakes in the morning. Don't forget to pack some containers to bring some blueberries home too. Bring your ATV as we have access to hundreds of kilometers of logging trails directly from the lodge. Don't forget your GPS and helmets. You will need to purchase your fishing license and outdoors card BEFORE you get to the lodge You can purchase them online or at several locations in Wawa. After an exhilarating two-day sit, the final Braden boy scored a remarkable bear without even needing to wait for it to reach the barrel! Thanks to our exceptional guides, we managed to haul it up from a towering cliff, resulting in some stunning photographs to capture the moment. This group of gentlemen was an absolute blast to guide! Once all three had tagged out, they spent the remainder of their week fishing and soaking in the serene beauty of the lodge. It was truly an unforgettable experience!

Every year, this father-son duo, Davin and Ty, impress us with their hunting skills. Last year, they both tagged out on the very first day! This time around, Dad tagged out second day in the blind. We cherish the opportunity to welcome back our repeat clients, celebrating their successes year after year. However, hunting remains unpredictable, and that’s part of the thrill!

While waiting for the perfect moment, Davin made the most of his time and enjoyed some fishing reeling in a great catch for dinner. We’re grateful for moments like these that remind us of the joys of the outdoors.

What an incredible week it has been at Whitefish Lodge for Colton’s bear hunt! We want to extend a huge thank you to Colton for his patience during our adventure, especially when Cooper’s bike broke down. Your good spirit made the trip even more enjoyable!

A special shoutout to the amazing group of guys who come together every year for this hunt. We’re so grateful you brought Colton along this time! He harvested a beautiful boar early in the week, making the experience even more memorable.
