I am deeply grateful for the continued support, patience, and prayers from our guests, and I am excited to share an important update.

Many of you have been waiting to hear how I am doing, and I am thankful to be able to share this with you personally. This weekend, I was finally able to return to the place I love, and it was an incredible feeling to be back.

It has been almost three months since my accident, and while there is still a long road of recovery ahead, I truly cannot think of better therapy than being here at the lodge. Your encouragement, patience, and prayers have meant the world to me. This place, and all of you, make the journey ahead one worth traveling.

I am profoundly grateful to God for another chance at life, and I know many of you wanted to hear this directly from me: I am back.

Reservations and Booking Information

All guests with reservations through August 15 have been contacted regarding their bookings.

If you are a returning guest looking to book for next year, please make your reservation as soon as possible to secure your 2026 pricing as usual.

If you are still hoping to schedule a trip for this year, please contact the lodge using the main lodge phone number. All guests with reservations after August 15 will be receiving calls this week.

If your trip has been moved from 2026 to 2027, please confirm that you have received your updated invoice, as this invoice is what secures and holds your booking.

Please ensure you have a copy of your invoice for your records, especially if your trip date has changed. Our staff is working hard to catch up on any invoices that may have been missed, and your understanding and patience are greatly appreciated.

I know you all have been wondering and waiting for updates about our beloved COOP. I am posting this with coops permission and advice.
Well the day we have all waited for.. the one all the doctors said would never come. COOPER IS AT MARY FREEBED! This is one of the top rehabilitation facilities in the country. Here he will undergo intense therapies to get him back in a regular routine … and if you ask coop BACK TO THE BUSH!! We have now stood and walked. The biggest thing holding back faster progress is his right femur being broken and the pain in his right shoulder. BUT we all know cooper is a trooper!! He is on his road to recovery. Working on short term memory and fine motor skills, tasks, and getting his strength back is going to be key!! He also got to eat his first kind of normal food today!!!!! Last thing to get removed is the stomach tube and I believe that will happen early next week!! It’s going to be different for him for a while even when we get back to the home and lodge. There are a lot of adaptations that will need to happen for short term to keep his recovery boosted!! I thank you all for the continued support. It has been financially. Emotionally AND physically exhausting. But we are all so happy to have Cooper here. I personally can’t wait to walk back into that ICU and shake hands with doctors that doubted him!!!!

Cooper wanted me to let all of his guests and friends know how grateful he is for all of the support. Current movement for camp to run is in the works!!! We don’t want to mentally overwhelm cooper but family and I are pushing to have doors open for mid June and will be updating people along the way. We WILL be contacting June clients with updates after Thursday of this week.

There is a go fund me posted on coopers personal page that has ALL the updates if you are eager to follow along. Doctors anticipate a full recovery!!! (The doctors at the ICU said there was a one in a million chance of this.) They dont know COOP!!
