Hello friends & family of Agnew Lake Lodge!

We regret to inform you that we are currently in a power outage and the phone lines are down. Power is expected to be returned roughly around 7 o'clock this evening, however, until such time - please reach out to us via email at [email protected] for any inquiries or queries and we shall get back to you straight away.

Additionally, there is a scheduled outage this Sunday from 9:30am to 4:30pm - at which time we can also be reached by e-mail.

🚨 Air Quality Warning 🚨

Please be advised of air quality conditions for the Espanola, Sables-Spanish Rivers, and Greater Sudbury areas due to wildfire smoke drifting in from forest fires in northwestern Ontario.

At this time, there are no active wildfires in our local area. The smoke is being carried into the region by changing weather conditions.

Although there is no immediate local wildfire threat, we encourage everyone to remain vigilant during the current fire ban and extreme heat warning.

Please remember:
• Do not have any open-air or backyard camp fires while the fire ban is in effect.
• Report any signs of smoke or fire immediately by calling 911.
• Limit strenuous outdoor activity if the smoke is affecting your breathing, especially for children, older adults, and those with heart or lung conditions.
• Stay hydrated and take precautions during the extreme heat.

The Espanola Fire Department and Sables-Spanish Rivers Fire Department will continue to monitor conditions and respond as needed. Thank you for doing your part to help keep our communities safe.

UPDATE: Hi everyone! We are excited to announce that we will be joined this evening by Canadian Idol Dani Star at 8pm for live music. We are excited to see you all this evening, RAIN OR SHINE!

We are also going to be collecting donations for 'Espanola Helping Hand Food Bank'. There will be a collection jar for anyone who would like to make a donation.

Shoutout to our friends and neighbors of Agnew Lake Lodge. We're excited to announce we are hosting our annual Canada Day BBQ/Potluck, Saturday June 27th at 6PM.
We ask that you please RSVP no later than Monday June 22nd and be sure to let us know what dish/dessert you will be bringing.
We can't wait to see you!

Dear friends and family of Agnew Lake Lodge, we are delighted to announce that Agnew Lake Lodge is the temporary home of not one but two families of Canadian Geese right now!

While this is an exciting time for all of us and yes, we agree, the goslings are very cute - Canadian Geese mate for life, and they are VERY protective of their families.

Please take care as you are walking around the park, especially with your own families. Thank you!
