🚨 Cancellation Alert: A last-minute lake escape just opened up! 🌊

Grey Door Cottage is available starting tomorrow, August 22 through August 30, with a two-night minimum for last minute stays.

This pet friendly, one bedroom cottage features a queen-size bed in the bedroom and a pullout couch in the living room, accommodating up to four guests. It also has a two-piece washroom, a private outdoor shower and a beautiful direct view of the lake.

Perfect for a last minute family or couples’ getaway before summer slips away! ☀️🐾

That’s a wrap on Year 5 of our annual Kids Fishing Derby! We thought this trend was the perfect way to share some highlights, celebrate our winners and recognize the amazing community that made it all possible! 🎣

We are so proud of every young angler who participated this year! From first catches and personal bests to a little friendly sibling competition, the kids worked hard and gave us so much to celebrate. A huge thank you to all the families who encouraged them, cheered them on and helped make the derby such a special experience.

This event would not have been possible without our incredibly generous sponsors and the support of the Ray’s Cottages community. Thank you for investing in our young anglers and helping us create memories they will carry with them for years to come.

A special thank you to The River Cats Colony for putting on such a great show on our awards night and making all the kids feel extra special as we celebrated their efforts!

Best of all, the derby raised $680 in entry fees for Linda Downey!

Where did July go?

Summer has a way of flying by. One minute it's Canada Day, and the next you're wondering how August arrived.
We want to give you every opportunity to make a few more summer memories, so we've released the remainder of our summer cottage availability through the end of high season, with 2 and 3 night stays now available where full weeks haven't been booked.

Whether it's a family getaway, a weekend with friends, or simply a chance to slow down by the lake, there's still time for one more summer escape.

What an incredible start to this year's Kids Fishing Derby! 🎣

We've already seen some amazing catches, big smiles, and unforgettable memories being made on the water. Swipe through to check out the current leaderboard and some of the young anglers who have been making this year's derby so special.

The competition is definitely heating up! There's still time for registered anglers to bring in an even bigger fish, and new participants are welcome to sign up right through July 30.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing sponsors who have already stepped up to support this event. Your generosity helps us create an unforgettable experience for these kids while raising funds for the Storehouse Foodbank.
