It is with very mixed emotions that Bob and I announce the selling of our B&B. We have had 6 wonderful years doing this and have met such a wonderful array of interesting beautiful souls along the way. It is time to hang up our aprons and spend more time on our motorcycles and visiting our wonderful families. We are not sure what the new owners plans are, but whatever they choose to do we hope they will love this house and make as many wonderful memories in it as we have.
We would like to say a huge thank you to all of friends in the accommodation community for their support and friendship over the years. A special thank you to all of the amazing guests we have had over the years, we feel so fortunate to have gained such valuable friendships along the way.

It's another great weekend in the beautiful county. Wellington Market is buzzing with activity, and our first County Rodeo is today and tomorrow in Picton. Looking forward to seeing the bucking broncos, and dancing to some fun country music tonight at the faiirgrounds in Picton. Hope to see lots of visitors, as well as locals having a rootin tootin good time!!! Yee Haw!

Happy Canada Day Weekend everyone, we had a great day yesterday for the Wellington Canada Day Celebrations, The parade was outstanding, and the various activities of the day were great!! Hope you all can make it to the Lavender Farm today or tomorrow as it it the annual Lavender festival, and it is really beautiful to see the lavender all in bloom and enjoy the various activities and events they have planned for the festival. Live entertainment and lots of food will be available to sample and buy.

Just got home from Picton where we stopped in to the new County Canteen for a drink and a bite to eat. What a fantastic edition to downtown Picton! Bob and I shared tne nachos and the drunken mussels. Both were amazing and the wine was great too! ( Devil's Wishbone Wicked White) Make sure you check it out!!! Excellent!

Had the best time last night at Wellington's Stache on Main Piano Bar. One of our favorite entertainers,Spencer Evans was playing. He is so talented and had everyone singing and dancing! We are so lucky to have this wonderful spot to go for a drink and some live entertainment. Gloria and Karl are super. Be sure to check it out during your next visit to our beautiful village!!

There has been some very exciting changes happening in our little village of Wellington lately! We are actually getting a much needed gas station here! It is presently under construction and will have a convenience store and some kind of fast food outlet.....maybe Tim Hortons??! We also have a new piano bar opened up, call "Stache's Piano Lounge"! They serve up some great music, foods and beverages! We've been there several times and plan to be regulars! Just down the street from us, a new bakery, "Wellington Bakery", has just opened! They make an awesome variety of breads and other baked goods! We tested them out and will be regulars there too! A new restaurant is opening right next door to us! Construction is underway in the south end of the dental office for the new location of the "Soup Opera" with their usual fantastic menu! Hope it opens soon! Rockin' Roger's pizza restaurant has just moved from their small downtown location to the former Main Street Grill location. Lots more menu items to choose from, delicious! There's lots to enjoy here in Wellington!! Hope to see you soon!

Great Countilious dinner last night at East and Main, Then a very talented Rita Di Ghent performed at Stache's Piano Lounge! She sings the blues and jazz beautifully! She is performing again tonight! Hope you get a chance to check it out!!!🍷

We're looking forward to one of the best events in the County, Countylicious, which starts this Friday, April 10th and goes to May 3rd! This is a great time to enjoy some delicious 3 course dinners, for just $30.00 to 35.00, at some the finest restaurants in Ontario! There are 9 restaurants participating this year and we love them all! We're starting at East and Main here in Wellington this Friday!
