Visiting Campobello Island on this rainy Tuesday?
Here are a few ideas to make the most of it!

-Drop into The Porch at Friars Bay Inn and Cottages for a fancy coffee and a muffin! Pick up a take out breakfast and enjoy it in the comfort of your accommodations. Stay and have a chat with the local employees and learn about their lives on the island. Open 8am to 3pm today.

-Make the day at Roosevelt Campobello International Park and explore the visitors centre, cottages and make a date with Tea with Eleanor. Grab lunch at the Prince Cottage while on the grounds. Open 10am to 6pm today.

-Stop and Shop at the Campobello Island Gift House for a gift or also take advantage of the inexpensive used book section or pick up a free used puzzle. There is a craft supply section as well to create your own gift or souvenir to remember your trip. Open Noon to 8pm today.

-Make dinner plans at the The Pier Waterfront for Taco Tuesday! Open Noon to 8pm today.

-Take a visit to the Campobello Island Museum located within the historical Library on Welshpool. The opening hours are 1pm to 5pm, 6pm to 8pm. The island's history is bigger than expected.

These are a few ideas to keep the grey skies at bay. Don't forget your umbrella. ;)

The wait for The Seafood Shack at Point Star is almost over. After hinting at bigger things to come last winter, we are nearing completion and are excited to share that our new building will offer a larger selection of fresh and frozen seafood for retail customers and a surprise. A take-out! Expect a diverse menu featuring many seafood dishes, lobster rolls and poutine, hot lobster sandwiches, fish & chips, scallops, clams and shrimp baskets and an assortment of non-seafood options for the land lovers. We will announce the opening day soon, so stay tuned for more details.

The wait is over—tomorrow is official opening day! 🌅
Starting Monday, June 22, we will be open 7 days a week (weather permitting).
⏰ Tomorrow’s safe crossover window: 10:40 AM to 2:00 PM Atlantic Time.

Here is the project we were so excited to share! Thank you to G.W. Foundations ltd for our stamped concrete walkways. They look great! A special shout out to MGP Contracting & Development Inc for all their ground work and prep to make this project happen. Great job guys! We can't forget Dana Matthews for making sure our guests had the steps to get in ( in a very short amount of time).
