Hey there! If we haven't met, this is us! Two years ago, we purchased our dream home here in West Kelowna. We could not resist the views, the location and the layout of the home. As empty nesters, it gave us everything we needed AND the opportunity to create a rental suite that is EXACTLY WHAT WE WOULD WANT IN AN OKANAGAN VACATION. Two years later, we've done a top-to-bottom, inside-out update, including a brand-new pool. This is our first season as hosts, and we love the sound of guests enjoying the property in between exploring this fabulous area.
What are our day jobs? Dawn helps small businesses make their marketing easier and more effective through copywriting and graphic design (Greenhouse Creative). Joel helps people make great real estate moves (Joel Kern, RE/MAX Kelowna) - feel free to ask him anything about local real estate.
Who lives upstairs on the property? Just us and our ancient, deaf dog! Our kids are grown up, and we rarely have friends over when guests are in the suite.
Do we meet our guests? We know that when you're on vacation, you are looking for peace and privacy (because that's what we look for too!) As a guest, you'll let yourself into the suite upon arrival using a keypad. Then, when you're ready to use the pool, we'll meet you for a few minutes to show you how to open and close the cover. From there, we might bump into you if we need to do any maintenance or give you a hand with anything, but we try to stay out of your way.
