Busy week over here at La Co-Host!

Between onboarding new vacation rentals and supporting our current cottages, it’s been all hands on deck. From listing setup and optimization to guest experience, maintenance coordination, and those last-minute details that make all the difference — we’re in full summer mode.

Excited to welcome another beautiful property to the La Co-Host family: Terazona Retreat at La Casa Resort. A stunning Okanagan escape with lake views, forest surroundings, and resort amenities guests love.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms, bonus moms, moms-in-law, grandmas, and mother figures out there🩶

Many people know me as the face behind La Co-Host, but behind the business I'm also a busy mom and bonus mom who's balancing family life alongside the busy vacation rental season.

This job often means working weekends, holidays, late nights, and answering messages while sitting at hockey rinks, school events, or in the car between cleans and check-ins. But at the heart of it all, family will always come first.
Today I'm feeling extra grateful for these five incredible humans and the beautiful chaos that comes with building both a business and a blended family.

Wishing all the hardworking moms and mother figures out there a day filled with love, appreciation, and maybe even a little quiet💕

Family Day Weekend feels like the perfect time to share this one🩶

We've officially welcomed a beautiful new lakeview home to La Co-Host — The Lookout at La Casa.

One of my favourite parts of this work is that it's never really just about cottages. It's about families. Owners are trusting me with vacation homes full of memories, and I never take that lightly.

Grateful for the continued growth, and even more grateful for the people behind it. Now I'm signing off for a week to spend some time with my own family.

Just wrapped up creating custom digital guest guidebooks for each of my properties ✨

Every home is different — so each guide is tailored to the space, the amenities, and how guests actually use it.

Guests can access everything right from their phones before their stay, including clear check-in details, house info, and local tips — which means fewer questions at 9pm 🙃

Thoughtful systems = better stays.

A bright 3-bedroom lake house sleeps 8 comfortably with stunning views, a spacious deck with fire table, and a private saltwater hot tub. Perfect for a relaxing Okanagan getaway.

This cottage also features its own backup generator and filtered water system, a unique comfort not often found at the resort.
