Guest Farm, Family camping and day use area.
Come for the day, a week or a month!
Eco friendly bubble camping at Road Apple Acres. A hundred and sixty acres of some of the most pristine and pastoral pastures, meadows and forests this side of the Rockies and within easy access from anywhere.
No neighbours unless you want them; social isolate to your heart’s content.
Bring your own food and gear or partake in ours. We have trailers and tents to rent, rooms to let (more than fifty cents). Cooking and shower facilities on site. Endless hiking trails.
There is plenty of open air indoor space. The Moonlight Cafe is an experience unto it’s own and can be rented for private functions. Special musical events TBA.
For camping we have available:
Tent sites (with or without a tent) Limited RV boondock (unserviced) sites A twenty-eight foot travel trailer The Moonlight Cafe’s cozy green room (actually red) Bed and make your own damn breakfast at Ernie’s cabin Road Apple R***e Gypsy wagon
Meet our furred, finned, and feathered friends:
‘Friendly’ will show you why the Clydesdale breed is called ‘The Gentle Giants; his brother ‘Victor’ is somewhat more aloof unless you have oats! Ace and Stretch, the normal sized boys are two of the nicest equine lawn ornaments you’ll ever meet.
For those a bit unsure of the large equids and for toddlers we have our little herd of Miniature Horses: Gemma, Red and Lambchop who can’t get enough TLC and horse crumbles.
The canine cadre consists of Molly the Border Collie who’ll chase sticks and balls all day long, Daisy, the Marema princess, and Dozer the Great Pyrenes night watchman. All are friendlier than a basket full of kittens.
And speaking of cats, Daniel and Henrick, the red point, blue-eyed feline barn brothers handle rodent control and human interaction with equal intensity. For non cat lovers they know what “Psssst!” means.
Help fatten our Rainbow Trout with the twice daily fish feeding frenzy.
