Camp Deen is a welcoming, non-denominational Muslim camp that encourages empathy and inclusivity. We strive for everyone to leave camp enriched in the spirit of being a Canadian-Muslim with new friends, appreciation for their faith, and memories that will last a lifetime. Camp Deen is a one week coed summer camp for children ages 7 to 17 that takes place in a beautiful, natural setting in Eastern

Ontario. This year, we are hosting camp at a new site, Christie Lake Camp in Westport, Ontario. The Camp's daily schedule includes religion, arts and crafts, swimming, canoeing, nature and sports. Formal religious sessions and religious instruction are not the primary focus of the Camp, but our faith and beliefs inform everything we do at camp. The camp also follows a traveller's schedule for performing the five daily prayers. Outward expressions of faith are respected, but are a personal choice. Waterfront activities and cabins are strictly separated by gender but there are many opportunities for campers to interact in a supervised setting during mealtimes and other activities.
