Today is Joshua Slocum Day on Brier Island! After descendants of Joshua Slocum accepted the award in Halifax yesterday from the Canadian Sailing Hall of Fame, they have now come to Brier Island to explore his roots! Please join us this evening at the Baptist Church at 7pm! Everyone is welcome!
