Some of our rooms have access to full kitchens. You can bring your own groceries and prepare your own meals. If you do not want to bring a bags of food we have three general stores to shop at.
Those local stores also have fresh made grab and go items.
On Brier Island we have R E Robicheau Ltd R and their cooler has a large assortment of sandwiches, subs, salads and more. Located across the road from the store is a beautiful deck that you can enjoy an ocean view seat to enjoy what you took away from the store. R.E. Robicheau is also the authorised Nova Scotia Liquor Commission outlet where you can pick-up Nova Scotia brews or spirits.
Located one free ferry ride away in Freeport is the School Stop and Shop. This is where our local pizza shop and lunch counter is located. There is a small eat-in area at the Old School Stop and Shop if you want to enjoy the atmosphere of a small town store.
Check out Old School Stop and Shop on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61565848852168
Located in Tiverton you will find Long Island Trading. The owners of this store are very familiar with cooking up delicious food. Stanton and Lavena spent many years as cooks and they owned the well known and well loved Lavena’s Catch Cafe before taking over the store. Some of the Cafe's favorite recipes are available for takeout in Stanton’s “takey-outy” freezer and their cooler is full of fresh made grab and go items. Check out their page for daily deliciousness!
The hardest decision is where to eat 1st!
