Green Lake. Hard to believe only 2-3 weeks ago, this lake was completely frozen over and people were playing ice hockey on it.

The stunning turquoise colour of Green Lake - the largest lake in the Whistler area - is a must-see. Easy access to the lake also makes this a great place to head to for an afternoon adventure of kayaking, canoeing or paddleboarding.

Or for a more relaxing afternoon, enjoy a view of the lake over a glass of wine on the patio at Table Nineteen restaurant at Nicklaus North Golf Course.

This stop (shown) is a quiet little area near the patio where the river empties it’s glacier waters into the lake.

These beautiful blue and black birds are Steller’s Jay - not to be confused with Blue Jays - and can been spotted all around Whistler.
