There’s something pretty special about the little surprises guests leave behind at Disisit.

Our most recent guests braved a true Newfoundland winter stay… two snowstorms and over 50 cm of snow while they were here. Not exactly “light flurries.” ❄️

Instead of hiding inside (although the hot tub likely got them outside), they embraced it. And when they left, they gifted us the cutest snowman in the yard — complete with a hockey stick in hand.

We love that every stay leaves its own little mark. Sometimes it’s kind words. Sometimes it’s a memory shared. And sometimes… it’s a hockey-loving snowman standing proudly by the pond.
