♾Join us on Saturday, October 3 at the Métis Arts & Culture Day and enter our silent auction fundraiser to raise funds for the Moosehide Campaign. The silent auction will have items donated by all the vendors, knowledge keepers and Moon Gate.

All proceeds raised will go directly to the campaign along with a donation of $25 from . All donations are welcomed.

👉Here's a bit about the campaign. "Since the Moosehide Campaign began over 10 years ago along the Highway of Tears, thousands of communities and organizations across Canada have held Moose Hide Campaign events and joined the annual Moose Hide Campaign Day ceremony and fast. People of all ages, genders and backgrounds are invited to take part in Moose Hide Campaign activities."

🙏We're grateful to the campaign for sending us a box of the information cards and a small patch of moose hide as a reminder to help end violence against women and children.

Welcome to our Métis Market, where we’re bringing together Métis artists, makers, Knowledge Keepers and cultural entrepreneurs to share their gifts, stories and traditions.

This is not your typical vendor market.

Alongside traditional and contemporary Métis art, crafts, beadwork, textiles, food items and more, our vendors will be sharing hands-on demonstrations, stories and cultural knowledge connected to their work.

It’s an opportunity to not only discover beautiful creations, but to learn, connect and experience the living culture behind them.

Borealis Beading, Mossy Birch Homestead, Denis' Laser Engraving, Lamour Skincare and more will have tables set up with all their creations available for purchase. We invite you to meet the makers and learn a little more about the stories behind their work.
