Today we celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day (Mzawe Anishinaabe Gizhigad). This coincides with the Summer Solstice—the longest day of the year.

We encourage everyone to show support, amplify Indigenous voices, honour Indigenous history, cultures, traditions, and contributions today and every day! 🪶 🧡

⛺The Saugeen Sojourn is now officially open to the public! 🌲

Join us for our new overnight experience with Cape Croker Park in collaboration with Anishinaabe Cultural Experiences that brings together outdoor adventure with Anishinaabe storytelling and land-based learning. 🌲✨

Spend the night in one of four canvas-walled tents on raised wooden platforms, paddle through the waters of Sydney Bay and/or guided fat bike tour of Cape Croker Park, join a guided nature hike, and gather around the campfire for Anishinaabe teachings and cultural experiences led by Indigenous guides and knowledge sharers. This weekend trip is a fantastic opportunity to adventure and enjoy land-based learning while fostering our collective reconciliation and healing.

Your adventure includes:
🔥 Welcome ceremony, campfire & Anishinaabe cultural teachings
🛶 Big Canoe tour of Sydney Bay (weather permitting)
🚲 Guided fat bike tour of Cape Croker Park
🔭 Dark Sky - Star gazing with BPBA C- Star telescope ( weather permitting )
🌿 Guided nature trail hike(s)
⛺ 1-night stay in a canvas-walled tent on wooden platform with cots
🍴 All meals catered by an Anishinaabe elder, Darryl
