For the fire crews:
Our doors (and hearts) are open. If you need a safe place to rest, shower, or just catch your breath, we’re here for you. Thank you for looking after our community — we see you, and we’re grateful.
To our neighbors:
Like many of you, we’re keeping an eye on things and checking in on friends. Please look out for one another, especially elders and families, and lean on the official updates when making decisions. Everything will be OK.
For guests planning a visit:
Conditions can shift, so before you travel, here are the official places we check:

The Ulkatcho First Nation and the Cariboo Regional District has issued an Evacuation Order for the Beef Trail Creek Fire Area 2 due to the fire C51672.
Due to immediate danger, members of the RCMP or other groups will be expediting the evacuation order. The evacuation route is to proceed to Highway 20 then head east to Williams Lake
For those who need additional resources, report to the ESS Centre at Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex, 525 Proctor Street, Williams Lake to register, receive assistance, and for refreshments.
Evacuees can register for Emergency Support Services online using the Evacuee Registration & Assistance (ERA) tool at https://ess.gov.bc.ca/
