Little improvements around the resort this week.

Our team has been carefully clearing and trimming around the outdoor guest area, opening up more of the lake view, improving access to the outhouse and camp shower, and making the area feel more open and welcoming.

It’s the small, practical details that help make a stay at Nimpo Lake Resort more comfortable — especially for guests who enjoy simple, quiet time close to nature.

Another fox sighting from the property 😍

We're located in the Chilcotin — moose, foxes, eagles, and loons are part of the everyday here. Guests see something almost every stay.

Hilltop Cabin — floor-to-ceiling windows, a queen bed with a pull-out couch, and a full kitchen.

The view through those windows looks out over the mountain and the lake. On clear nights, it's one of the better spots on the property for northern lights.

Pioneer Cabin — the only cabin with French doors that open directly to a lakeside deck.

Inside: a queen bedroom, sleeping loft, wood stove, wicker chairs, and a kitchen. Outside: the lake, a picnic table, and a stack of firewood ready to go.

It's been one of our most popular cabins for a reason.

Loon Cabin — named for the birds on the lake, and you'll probably hear them at night.

Full kitchen, wood stove, sofa, dining area — everything you need for a week in the Chilcotin. It's one of our year-round cabins, and it's pet friendly.

The stained glass lamps have been there since the beginning. Some things don't need updating.

The Glamping Cabin — our most rustic option, and honestly, that's the point.

Two beds in a sleeping loft, a wood stove, a camp-style kitchen with a two-burner propane stove. No hot water in the cabin — there's a shared shower nearby. It's simple, it's affordable, and it puts you right in the middle of 300+ acres of wilderness.

Not a guest, but a regular visitor.

We have a family of foxes that wanders through the property. This is what we mean by "wildlife at your doorstep."😀

Our screened gazebo is set up and open to all guests.

A hanging fireplace, comfortable chairs, a shelf full of books, and string lights. Screened on all sides, so you get the evening air without the mosquitoes. Good for a slow morning with coffee or sitting up late when the rest of the property goes quiet.
