First off, we want to thank every single one of you who has supported us since day one. Being welcomed into the community with open arms truly showed us how Windsor stands above the rest.

With some changes in our personal and professional lives, we regretfully have to step away from Gear House Windsor for the time being. It has been such an amazing opportunity to serve the Windsor film and photography community. We have made friendships that will last a lifetime and are excited to watch everyone continue to grow as creatives.

Although we do not have an idea when we will be back, we want to make sure this isn’t a goodbye and is more of a see you later.

We love having a clear view of the frame on the Atmos Shinobi external monitor! 🖥

External monitors allow you to be able to see your frame on a larger screen enabling you to see more details on the picture. They can also provide a different viewing angle if your camera is positioned in a tight or awkward position that makes it hard to see the internal monitor on the camera.

Be sure to add a monitor to your camera rental to make your next shoot a lot easier.

Lighting makes a huge impact on the visuals of a photo or video and these tube lights produce soft and diffused light allowing them to illuminate both the subject and the room in a natural-looking way.

Meet the Team: Benjamin Cheer

Originally from Ottawa, ON, I moved to Windsor to pursue a double major in Communications, Media & Film and Psychology. My specialties are documentary storytelling and photojournalism. In 2022, I worked on 4 Local Shorts screened at WIFF, and won the 48h Flick Fest Audience Choice Award. I am always willing to lend an extra hand and hope to be a part of many more projects in the years to come.

- Favourite kind of projects: Anything that I can do cool lighting with

- Fun fact: Vending machines kill more people than sharks.... be warned

Meet the Team: Henry Nadasdi

I was a late bloomer when it comes to film. I got my first camera when I was 20 years old and have learnt everything I know from the amazing community Windsor has and hands on experience. I have had the opportunity to direct an array of different projects but I always find my way back to directing music videos and commercials.

- Goal for GHW: My goal for Gear House Windsor is to create a space to welcome and support the growing number of creatives in the area.

- Fun fact: I've watched the movie step brothers more than I'd like to admit.

- Film equipment on your wishlist: A set of Atlas Orion Anamorphic lenses

Meet the Team: Leonardo Cardelli

My mom always had a camera with her when we went on family trips, so over time I started to learn the basics of photography. I then turned this hobby into a career during my last year of college and have continued honing in on the craft. My favorite part of this industry is getting to learn about different people and their passions.

- Goal for GHW: I'd love for GHW to become a cornerstone for the Windsor creative community. I love being here to help creatives in the area in executing on their visions.

- Fun fact: I spent some time studying in China and didn't know any Mandarin (thanks Google and Microsoft translate)

- Film equipment on your wishlist: I'd love to play with the new inspire drone from DJI or the full set of vintage helios lenses.
