The Manitoba Bed and Breakfast Cooperative is an organization that promotes B&B's in Manitoba. We are a non profit Cooperative where members are inspected.

The Manitoba Bed and Breakfast Cooperative is an association of Bed and Breakfast operators working together to provide high quality experiences to our guests. Through ongoing professional training and regular inspections, our accredited member hosts adhere to our recognized quality assurance program.

Reconciliation asks all of us to take the time to learn more about Indigenous histories, cultures and experiences, and to think about how that learning can shape the actions we take.

We encourage you to recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation by wearing orange (and understanding the meaning behind it), attending local events, listening to Indigenous voices, taking in Indigenous art and books, and learning more about the land and communities around you.

Our members live and work across Treaties 1, 2, 3 and 5, as well as within the Homeland of the Red River Métis. Finding out more about the traditional territory you’re on is a meaningful place to start. 🧡

Make history part of your getaway! Explore these Manitoba B&Bs with historic connections:

Thomas Bunn House - Immerse yourself in the history of this stone home built by Thomas Bunn, a member of Louis Riel’s council. The building and property were designated a heritage site in 1992.

Fairmount B&B - Visit this 1914 two-and-a-half-storey home that’s typical of many farmhouses built at the turn of the last century. With furnishings in the style of early Canadiana, you’ll take a journey back in time!

Tea-A-Maria Café and B&B - Originally built in 1910, this former church served local Icelandic pioneers. Check out its Gothic Revival design, complete with pointed arch windows, wooden belfry and distinctive spire.

Herdsman House - Peek into the 1880s home where the village cow herder lived in Neubergthal, an early Mennonite street village and national historic site in south-central Manitoba.
