Welcome to Sweet Petals Farm Bee ā€˜n Bee, a cozy countryside retreat set on a beautiful working flower farm just outside Winnipeg! šŸŒøšŸ

Hosted by Terry and Vic Neufeld, this relaxing B&B is filled with warm hospitality and a love of the land. Terry, a Certified Prairie Horticulturalist and passionate beekeeper, has been cultivating her flower magic for nearly a decade.

Your ā€œbee ā€˜n beeā€ is a spacious 650 sq. ft. upper-floor loft featuring beautiful salvaged cedar woodwork. Relax in the cozy bedroom or sitting area, wash your cares away in a two-person rain shower, and enjoy all the antiques and country charm.

Step outside and stroll their eight gardens, say hello to the bees (if they’re not busy in the canola fields), relax in the grain bin gazebo and listen to the peaceful waterfall as you take in the fresh prairie air.

And if you’re visiting in summer, you can even join a farm tour in July or a bouquet-making workshop in August!

Book your stay at this unique B&B at sweetpetalsfarm.ca/bee-n-bee or by calling 204-227-5217.

Do you hear that? That’s what peace and tranquility sounds like.

Little Cabin on the Creek is located on a 10-acre berry farm growing saskatoon and Haskap berries (in season at the end of June through late July).

Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck overlooking Cooks Creek and wetlands teeming with birds and wildlife. You may just see eagles and hawks soaring above, Great Blue Herons stalking the shoreline, or beavers, otters and muskrats busying themselves along the creek!

After a continental breakfast, wander down to the dock and toss in a line. Chances are good you’ll catch different species using a simple pickerel rig and salted minnow! Ice fishers are a quick 30-minute drive to Lake Winnipeg, or simply zip out of the yard onto the river with your sled.

Finish the day taking in a beautiful sunset over the marsh on your deck.

Call 204-999-3463 to book.

Walking into the Thomas Bunn House feels like stepping into a living piece of history, where every corner carries the story of the past.

Built in 1862 by stonemason Samuel Taylor for Thomas Bunn, a local politician and member of Louis Riel’s Council, this Red River property has stood witness to generations of Manitoba history. Designated a heritage site in 1992, the home is filled with authentic artifacts and timeless character throughout.

Lovingly maintained for over 80 years by the Stewart family, the house is now shared as a B&B by hosts Fraser and Bev, who invite guests to experience its unique heritage firsthand.

Perfect for history buffs, anglers, hunters, or anyone looking for a spot for a getaway or family gathering. Learn more at thomasbunnhouse.ca!

Planning a stay at a bed and breakfast? 🧳

A little thoughtful packing goes a long way toward making the trip feel extra relaxing!

Start with comfort-first outfits: soft layers, sweaters and something a little nicer for an evening out, if that’s in your plans. Don’t forget the small essentials, like slippers, a good book and a reusable tote for treats if you’ll be exploring the area.

And of course, keep it light. The goal is to enjoy the slower pace that makes a B&B getaway so special!

What’s your must-have item when you’re packing?
