Who doesn't love a surprise??? 100+ Women Who Care River Valley Events are FULL of surprises! From keeping the presenting charities a secret until the night of the event, to a private ballot to vote for your favourite presenting charity to the announcement of the donation amount....
We will soon be notifying our lucky charities that because of your nomination, they will be joining us to present their worthy cause.
Each charity will have 5 minutes to tell us about their charity, its needs and how your donations might help them in the months ahead. Once each charity has presented, we immediately vote. While the votes are being counted, we hear from the winning charity from our last meeting.
At our Nov 5th Event we will be from the Sanctuary House who took "home" over $35,000!!!!!!!
If you have ever been part of a charity you know how many bake sales or ticket sales you have to do to raise that amount of money - no small feat. That is why we are so proud of our members for continuing to show up, and support this wonderful cause.
See you on Thursday November 5th at the Best Western in Woodstock. Doors Open at 6:30pm with the event commencing at 7pm. There will be light refreshments & a cash bar for your enjoyment.
Remember, we are NOT limited to 100 Women, bring with you a group of friends, along with your $100 and a self addressed stamped envelope. The more people in the room, the more our winning charity will go home with.
