Ladies retreat 2026 was nothing less than amazing!
10 ladies flew into the lodge and had a wonderful week of learning, crafting, picking cranberries, polishing rocks, supporting one another, amazing meals with a few cooking lessons thrown in, hot tubbing and kicking back.
Our guests flew in from Idaho, Alberta and Yellowknife.

2026 Ladies Retreat.
We all sat down to a delicious meal of BBQ Lake Trout served with Morel cream Sauce, corn on the cob, green beans, cucumber salad and fresh baked Nola French Bread.
Finished off with Butterfinger dessert.
Our ladies traveled from Alberta, Idaho and Yellowknife to attend the retreat.

After dinner fishing made Ray’s dream come true this evening.

As I sit here tonight reflecting on where we were at last year, with the very real threat of losing the entire lodge.

I had to go back through the photos from last year and thank the Universe for sparing us the loss of our home and tourism business.

Some amazing fire fighters and techs, some not so much, but we survived!
What a year 2025 was!

Second photo, the female Merganser kicked the Buffle head off and reclaimed her rock.
We have a pair of Mergansers nest in the bay every year
