On 28 August, Cattani Restaurant hosted the Four Hands Dinner: our Executive Chef Stefanos Ioannidis and a guest chef, one evening, one menu written between them.
Greek roots met the Alps, course after course, and for a few hours the dining room felt like somewhere between Athens and Engelberg.
The evening is over. The menu is not: the Cattani Collection can still be enjoyed until 30 October.

In the corridors, vintage Engelberg pictures line the walls - a quiet nod to the travellers who walked these halls long before you.

Each room number is set in oak and matte black iron, a detail so considered it deserves a second glance.

The year was 1840. Anna Russell, Duchess of Bedford, grew tired of the long wait between lunch and dinner and so she asked for a tray of tea, bread, butter and cake to be brought to her room.
A tradition was born.

Nearly two centuries later, it continues in our Wintergarden, the former “boots room” of this 1905 Belle Époque palace, where warm amber light dances through the conservatory glass.

Served daily from 14:00 to 17:00.
