The queen of all hikes: Engelberg – Brunnihütte – Bannalp – Walenpfad – Brunnihütte – Engelberg.

With or without the lift, it’s a fine way to explore the valleys, ridgelines and everything in between. A proper day out with 2000 elevation and 34 km without lifts, less with :)

DJ SWEDISH (CH) 28TH OF AUGUST
Straight out of Switzerland, with a love affair with hip hop that started in the late ’90s and never quite ended. Think classic hip hop, funky breaks, good vibes and the sort of music that makes your head nod before you’ve even noticed.

POV: You run 25K in Engelberg, Switzerland, and the mountains just keep getting bigger.

935 metres of climbing - the gear, the legs and the good mood all passed the test with flying colours.

Huge thanks to RunThrough Trails for a great event, fabulous trails and a very decent excuse to spend the day in the mountains.

The rain made a surprise visit (for this summer) and, as if to make up for its absence, brought a rainbow along for good measure. Meanwhile, our little village carried on as though this sort of scenery were perfectly ordinary.
It is, of course. We’re just rather used to it :)

Where we get our drip these days.
A hike or run (or just from moving our heads in a nod) sweaty before you know it - followed by a plunge in Trübsee at 1,800 m. It’s simply too warm for any other kind of drip 😅🏊‍♂️ Thank you Stephen Shelesky for these photos 💕
