Join the Lili Centre on Saturday, January 25, 2025, for a special Chinese New Year celebration filled with fun, flavours, and tradition. Ring in the Year of the Wood Snake by learning the art of making authentic Chinese dumplings, a symbol of prosperity and togetherness.

This hands-on workshop will guide you through the process of crafting delicious dumplings from scratch—perfect for sharing with family and friends. Along the way, you’ll also discover the cultural significance of dumplings during the New Year and enjoy an immersive celebration of Chinese customs.

Your home from home needs your donation to stay open for you and everyone who needs it. 💛

The LiLi Centre is a Community Centre whose aim is to help international residents regardless of religion, language, gender, gender identity and colour to integrate and network into local society. This is achieved by focusing on three pillars: Information, Education and Networking, as well as actively building “bridges” between locals and people relocating to Switzerland.

Since our founding, eight years ago, we have developed projects in 10 essential categories: Integration, Culture, Fitness, Entrepreneurship, Career, Families, Kids, Ecology, Mental Health and Volunteering.

Our variety of programmes are offered to help people from all walks of life feel at home and equip them with the knowledge to integrate more competently within Switzerland.

We are currently the only Community Centre in Switzerland focusing on the integration of people from all sectors of society.

It takes a village to make someone feel integrated and at “home” and we provide this vital support network by offering “a home away from home”.

We are a non for profit organisation and run entirely by volunteers. It takes us close to CHF100,000.00 per year to keep The Centre running and we finance ourselves through memberships fees, room rentals and donations.

Immerse yourself in an evening filled with joy and laughter, as we dance our way with Ms. Anna Purna, a renowned Indian dancer, along with a candle ceremony and 3 course Thali meal prepared by professional Indian Chefs.

A wonderful night to remember, a real chance to experience the authentic delights of India.

The International Evening will happen on Saturday, November 23! The evening will include a fabulous Bollywood dance workshop followed by a traditional 3-course Thali dinner. LiLi Centre members will receive a free glass of Prosecco on arrival!

For the past five years, our team has been on the jury of the city of Lucerne's neighbourhood initiative award. The city has also commissioned The Livingin Association to produce the nominees' films!

For the past three years, we have proudly worked with , a content creator and filmmaker, to make films. It's always nice to see the impact these films make on the nominees, who get to see acknowledgement for their volunteering and hard work.
