✨WOW 12th place in "The most beautiful small hotels in Switzerland"!🏆

"For the third time, the "NZZ am Sonntag" publishes a rating of the best hotels in Switzerland. While the first edition basically included all hotels in Switzerland and the second one mainly included three-star hotels, this time the focus is on small hotels: establishments with a maximum of 30 rooms, suites and holiday apartments. They all have to cope with the particularly tricky task of reconciling a diverse range of offers with their limited space. A balancing act! […] Small hotels in their own country are the highly topical response of the tourism industry to the general uncertainty, and they are also particularly successful in conveying a personal atmosphere to their guests - whether with or without five-star luxury."

May we introduce...
Our trainers Kevin Hischke (Chef de Service), Lukas Pfaff (Chef de cuisine), Heidi Engi (Reception, Marketing & Communication) and Michael Gehring (Hotel Director & Host) together with the team from Hotel Stern Chur.
During the last few weeks our management team has completed and successfully passed a further training as supervising instructors. The Alpina was awarded the certificate "Top Training Company" 👏😊🥳 We are proud of our team, which is doing an excellent job!

The training of young people is an important foundation on which we rely. For summer 2020 we still have a vacant apprenticeship position as hotel & communication specialist. If you are interested, please contact Michael Gehring at [email protected] 😉

Soon it’s Easter! Did you know that this is one of the annual festival that swiss celebrate with their families? On easter, most people don’t work from Thursday till Tuesday and are reserving these days to visit their friends and family. It is a tradition to colour eggs, for example with grass and onionskin. The highlight of these days is the big easter-brunch on Sunday. That’s when the whole family comes together (since this year is a little different, probably some family member will join the brunch virtual, but it’s the gesture that counts, right? 😉). Swiss autumns are colourful, mystical and amazingly beautiful.

Visit The Alpina Mountain Resort during September and October, when the surrounding forests start to change colours and the mountains have a white summit.

The forest walk starts just in front of the hotel, where you can discover your own secret spots that depict the beauty of nature. We even prepare a hiking pack just for you so you can optimise your hiking experience!
