✨Kit Armstrong with Goethe and Liszt at the Gotthard 🎵

A truly unforgettable afternoon at the Fondazione Sasso San Gottardo Sasso San Gottardo: high in the Alps, at 2,020 metres, Kit Armstrong official performed works by Franz Liszt in the extraordinary Kristallkaverne.

The programme was closely connected to the museum’s unique permanent exhibition on Goethe’s journeys through Switzerland. Armstrong not only played with extraordinary sensitivity, virtuosity and versatility, but also guided the audience through the fascinating connections between Goethe, Liszt and the works themselves.

A reception and a private tour of the Goethe exhibition completed an exceptional cultural experience – deep inside the Gotthard.

A heartfelt thank you to Damian Zingg for having me, the entire team of the Fondazione Sasso San Gottardo, and especially to Kit Armstrong for creating this truly unforgettable cultural highlight at the Gotthard 🎭💥

✨ Pianist Bridget Yee gave a wonderful Debut at the Lucerne Festival ✨

We all were very moved by the beautiful concert yesterday by pianist Bridget Yee at the Lucerne Festival! Her inspiring recital brought together works by Richard Wagner - with the amazing sonata in B minor at the end - Samuel Barber, Earl Wild, Joseph Haydn and Layla Arafah, which was a premiere in Switzerland — music spanning two centuries, beautifully connected through her sensitive and captivating interpretation.

Thank you, Bridget, for this wonderful musical experience. We are already looking forward to the next concerts with you! 🎶✨

The Lucerne Festival belongs to the most exciting festivals for classical music. An amazing program over four weeks attracts and thrills people from all over the world.

young artists in concert – where the next generation of artists inspires. ✨

It’s always a great pleasure to visit the Davos Festival for experience young enthusiastic artists and unusual works.

Today’s highlight was “ANNEMARIE”, the powerful new chamber opera by Swiss composer Céline Fankhauser, portraying the dramatic life of writer, journalist and photographer Annemarie Schwarzenbach- - one of Switzerland’s fascinating cultural figures.

Earlier, the “Inner Peace” chamber music programme at the Ernst Ludwig Kirchner Museum offered a moment of calm and reflection. At the Davos Festival, exceptional young musicians perform inspiring, rarely heard works with remarkable passion and artistry.
A day full of discoveries. 🎶

Astona International Summer Music Academy 2026 🎻🎹💥

The Astona Summer Music Academy 2026 is in full swing! 🎶

Since Monday, 32 exceptionally talented young musicians from 11 countries have been inspiring audiences at concert venues across the Canton of Zug. For two weeks, they come together to refine their artistry under the guidance of an outstanding international faculty before sharing their music with audiences during a week of inspiring concerts.
Last night some of the young artists gave even an interesting insight into their life as a young musician and student.

Join us and support the next generation of outstanding musicians!
