This summer's extreme heat has been an environmental alarm bell. As a cafe, we know our operations contribute to single-use waste and we choose not to ignore that impact and try to reduce it. If you cannot take the time to sit and enjoy your drink we do encourage you to bring your reusable take away cups by offering a CHF 0.50 discount. In contrast, earlier this year we introduced a CHF 0.50 take away fee for the use of single use take away drinks. We have pledged that the proceeds will be donated to POW (protect our winters) and for the first half of the year we are donating just over CHF 1000.
