Lavaux Vinyard Terrace, UNESCO World Heritage ..stretching for about 30 km along the south-facing northern shores if Lake Geneva from the Chateaus Chillon to the eastern outskirts of Lausanne in the Vaud region, cover the lower slopes of the mountainsise between the villages and the lake.

Beautiful views going for snowshoeing in the close by Haut-de-Caux - pack some lunch and a bottle of water and you are good to go.
On the way to the parking you will pass the gigantic Caux Palace, an impressive former palace hotel build in 1902.

Another sunny day with a spectacular view from the cozy living room - with the sun coming through the windows there is no need for using the chimney, even though it was still -6.5°C at 10am.
