An icon of the silent film era… and a Vevey resident. Charlie Chaplin spent the final 25 years of his life in the Swiss town. His former home in Corsier-sur-Vevey now houses a museum, dedicated to Chaplin’s life and work, and a statue by the lake commemorates “the Tramp”, his most famous role.
