Hérémence and the broader Val d’Hérens region in the Swiss Alps, known for traditional wooden chalets, historic raccards (raised grain barns), mountain pastures, and sparkling stream waters.

Where I would take my little one to explore bugs, butterflies, flowers and wild berries.
We called it the bumpy road and when it rained, it had a huge paddle to drive through. How fun it was!

And the view, unchanged, is still a feast for the eyes.
