One highlight is the exhibition “Farbe”, which dives into the meaning of color across different traditions from South Asian paintings to historical photography revealing how colors carry symbolism, emotion and ritual significance.

Another fascinating journey leads to Mongolia, where over 200 objects trace the history of the steppe, nomadic culture and the deep connection between landscape, spirituality and everyday life.

Ab 27.02. widmet das Kunsthaus Zürich dem afroamerikanischen Künstler Kerry James Marshall erstmals in der Schweiz eine umfassende Ausstellung.

Seine grossformatigen Gemälde erzählen von Sichtbarkeit, Identität und der Frage, wer in der westlichen Bildtradition gesehen wird und wer nicht.

Eine Ausstellung von internationaler Bedeutung, in Kooperation mit der Royal Academy, London, und dem Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris.
Die bislang grösste Präsentation des Künstlers ausserhalb der USA.

Ein intensiver Kunstraum zwischen Geschichte, Gegenwart und gesellschaftlicher Reflexion.
