Once again, we’re saying goodbye to summer with full hearts (and slightly tired legs 😋)!

A season when both the temperatures and the atmosphere at the hotel were at their peak! Thank you to all our dear guests for visiting us. ❤️

Today we’re closing our doors for a break and will be back right on schedule on December 4 for the start of the winter season.❄️🚠

All the best, Celina! 💛

Celina has been part of our team at Bella Vista for the past three seasons—and everyone who’s had the chance to get to know her knows what a sunshine she is!

Now Celina is returning to her family in Argentina. We wish her all the very best from the bottom of our hearts and will miss her dearly on our team.

Thank you for your amazing dedication, your cheerful spirit, your great ideas, and your passion for Bella Vista! 🫶🏼

Step Back in Time 💭

In 1962, the Perren family opened the Hotel Bella Vista on Riedweg. Even back then, the hotel was a place where guests kept coming back, and the family lovingly shared their special place with everyone. In addition to running the hotel, mountaineering has always been—and still is today—a great passion of the family.

Meanwhile, on the Bella Vista’s terrace, you can still relax and enjoy the view just as well after a hike. And it’s still the place where hospitality gives you goosebumps—now just as it did 64 years ago! ♥️

Don't just arrive—come home! 🏠

That’s how many of our guests feel at Bella Vista. Our warm, family-like atmosphere and our efforts to give every guest an unforgettable stay have paid off: We received the “Travelers’ Choice” award again in 2026. What an honor!

We’re grateful and happy that our guests appreciate this special place just as much as we do! 🫶

Next week, the mountains call ⛰️🔥

The is back in Zermatt — and with it comes plenty of trail-running action. The EXTREME course lives up to its name: steep climbs, technical trails and spectacular high-alpine terrain around the Matterhorn.

We’re looking forward to an unforgettable race week and wish all runners strong legs, clear minds and plenty of energy for every vertical metre. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Who’s ready for the EXTREME? 🔥
