Campamento Ñandú is located on the main street of the town, just 200 meters from the east entrance, coming from the border with Los Antiguos-Argentina at: Bernardo O’Higgins #750, Chile Chico. It is a complex of two independent buildings, accessible from a wide garden, with complete facilities:

I.-2 rooms with insuite bathroom, 2 bunks/one of them is extensible to convert in a double bed (or 3 b

eds)

II.-An octagonal common 40 m2 space with shared tables, fire-stove.
- The common space is surrounded by 7 rooms. Each room has 3 full beds and individual lockers.
- Wide full outfitted kitchen.
- 4 private toilets, and showers for men and women. Separated from the common area
- 1 private room with bathroom designed for drivers and guides of groups.

Our Story

There’s only one real hostel in Chile Chico and Campamento Ñandú is the one! It’s a real overlanders and backpackers place with large communal spaces, WI-FI, a fully equipped kitchen, Private Rooms and Dorms with lockers. The hostel, consists of two buildings, one with two private 5-bed room with ensuite bathrooms, and a second structure with 4 private rooms (2 or 3 beds), 3 dorms with 4 beds each, considering common showers and private tolilets. It also has a spacious roofed central patio with tables and benches and a wood stove to heat up on cold days.

The hostel’s big garden is dotted with nice fruit trees and has a BBQ space and Hangar Lounge, a fireplace-cafe to socialize with other travellers. Ñandu´´s bilingual owners, also organize transport to Parque Patagonia-Jeinimeni Area
