Right at the start of this route, between Alerce Andino and Hornopirén National Parks, you’ll find the Cochamó Valley—the “Yosemite of Chile.” Although it’s not a designated “national park,” our entire Cochamó community—ranchers, townsfolk, landowners, lodges, campground owners—works together to care for and preserve this pristine rainforest valley.
