The first batch of hats for the new season just arrived.
Our classic Richardson 112s. Still the best fitting hat in the game. Good juju certified.
We’ll also have a special limited edition “Vista” version available exclusively at the lodge. Just a few of those.

The Simpson river has many faces, which is probably why it has become one of our local favorites.
Formed near the pampas by the Argentine border, at the confluence of the Huemules and El Blanco rivers, it works its way through valleys, canyons, town, and national reserve waters before eventually flowing toward the Pacific.
Every stretch has its own personality. Different structure, different rhythm, different mood. Add glacial streams, snowmelt, springs, rain-fed creeks, and daily hatches into the mix, and you get one of the most complex and interesting rivers we fish.
The Simpson can be generous to those who put in the work, but it never lets you get too comfortable. And that’s exactly what keeps you coming back.

Every part of the season has its own charm and challenges. March is no exception.
If there’s a window to get lucky with a true Patagonian pig, this is it.
They don’t come easy, but they’re not impossible either. You just have to be here when it happens.
