Alan y Meg profesores de geografía de USA casi en sus 70 años, todo un ejemplo de vida. Caminantes imparables, disfrutaron al máximo nuestro acrivo full day volcán tour caminando todo lo que había que caminar… sacando el provecho y partido a la actividad física requerida. aportando de paso a nuestro conocimiento sobre la geología de volcanes y sus diferentes constelaciones minerales. resultaron toda una inspiración para mí. finalmente además me honraron mucho nómbrame miembro honorario de su club de caminantes “ Appalachian mountain club” su lema después del día fue casi como el de Johnny Walker “ Mauro no pares de caminar nunca” keep walking 😉🙌👌”

Why not hike and swim!!
The good combination we experienced 2 days ago when we did the “Rincon del Lago” trail, 12 km round trip from the Vicente Perez Rosales Park administration.
An excellent alternative, with good contrasts alternating between a path on the beach and inside a pristine and ancient forest. To finish with a refreshing swim in a small bay of crystalline and calm waters almost on the northwest side of the beautiful Emerald Lake or also known as Todos los Santos Lake. With beautiful views of the lake, the Osorno and Puntiagudo Volcanoes and the old trees of this charming old forest.
An alternative that you can also book During February and depending on the weather also in March as a variant of our hike included in the excursion “Osorno Volcano Active I” If you want to combine that experience with swimming in Lake Esmeralda And all the above together with the associated stories of your local trilingual guide with a naturalist focus
In general, it is a medium-moderate level hike suitable for all ages

Por que no caminata & baño !!
la buena combinacion que experimentamos hace 2 dias al realizar el sendero "Rincon del Lago" 12 Kms de ida & vuelta desde la administracion del Parque Vicente Perez Rosales.
Una excelente alternativa, con buenos contrastes alternados de camino sobre playa y al interior de un pristino y antiguo bosque. Para culminar con refrescante baño en una pequeña bahia de cristalinas & calmas aguas casi al costado nor-oeste del hermso Lago esmeralda o tambien conocido como Lago Todos los Santos. Con lindas vistas, tanto al Lago, Volcan Osorno, Puntiagudo y a los longevos arboles de ese encantador bosque viejo.
Una alternativa que puedes tambien por supuesto reservar Durante febrero y dependiendo de clima tambien en Marzo como variante de nuestra caminata incluida en excursion "Volcan Osorno Activo I" Si quieres combinar con esa experiencia de baño en el Lago Esmeralda Y todo lo anterior junto a los relatos asociados de su guia local trilingue y de esencia naturalista

La nube ovni junto al volcán Osorno 👽 🛸

Gran registro de nube ovni el de ayer sábado.

La increíble apariencia a una nave espacial de una nube lenticular clásica que despertó el interés de los que pudimos apreciar. 🤩

Sobre todo, ya que permaneció por horas, y fue cambiando de Tono con el avance del atardecer 🌅
Las nubes que parecen ovnis son nubes lenticulares un fenómeno natural que se produce cuando los vientos rápidos chocan contra una montaña u otra estructura alta se forman cuando fuertes y húmedos vientos soplan sobre terrenos difíciles como montañas o valles
Peculiares formaciones nubosas que forman parte de un clásico también de la Patagonia,

Sendero los alerces 👉🏼 para terminar abril e inspirarnos para futuras salidas invernales

Finalizamos abril con buena inspiración y entusiasmo, en una nueva intensa caminata, 14 km de sendero a ratos bien arenoso, con lluvia intermitente, cielo mayoritariamente nublado incluso tuvimos granizo bajando desde el volcán.. y a ratos también arcoíris, cómo siempre un contraste total

Pero motivados, por el entusiasmo de Melinda y Jack qué llegaron sólo un día antes desde San Diego, California . para nuestra salida programada al P.Vicente P.Rosales y Volcán Osorno.

asiduos viajeros de pre y post temporada, según ellos mismos se catalogan, buscando por lo mismo alejarse de las masas y la congestión turística, y escapar de sus rutinas de la gran ciudad “el clima, declaran es un factor secundario para ellos”
Aplaudimos por supuesto esa motivación que de paso nos alienta a mantenernos activos ofertando estas salidas de observación de naturaleza, y viendo la admiración que provoca en nuestros visitantes extranjeros.

Y como dice el dicho, “no hay mal tiempo, sólo mal equipo”.

Sendero los Alerces to end April and inspire us for future winter outings

We ended April with good inspiration and enthusiasm, in a new intense trekk, 14 km of very sandy path at times, with intermittent rain, mostly cloudy sky, we even had hail coming down from the volcano... and at times also rainbows, as always “a total contrast”

But motivated by the enthusiasm of Melinda and Jack who arrived just a day before from San Diego, California. for our scheduled departure to P.Vicente P.Rosales and Osorno Volcano.

today's hike.

Together with Juan and María, 2 enthusiastic teachers from Seville Spain.

We enjoyed our active Osorno Volcano day trip.
With obvious autumnal undertones, we enjoyed the pristine forest by the Todos los Santos lake on “Los Alerces Trail”. 4 hours of trekking on a cool morning, various fungi and lichens together with the coppery red tones of the deciduous leaves of the Ñirre tree on the summits of the surrounding hills.

Compass del Sur “ is back on the trail !

These visitors from Germany and England Vanessa & Felix (Ger) and Jack & Lily (Eng) gave us good inspiration to return to our personalized & active excursions. Specially when part of those comments have been, "it is the most beautiful thing we have done and seen so far" And that considering that both couples have been traveling for months in South America. As we have said to them, simply, a good start to the season, a nice mini group again.
