Two lakes at four thousand metres, Miscanti and Miñiques, with water still enough that the volcanoes show up twice.

They're one of the stops on our new Piedras Rojas route, along with the red rock and salt flats further along. A long morning at altitude, and an easy afternoon back at the hotel is the right way to close it.
