Cameroon’s King Wax Dey collaborates with South African sensation Master KG on new music entitled “My Heart”

OPEN MIC Productions (South Africa) and Calabash Music (Cameroon) have released the much-anticipated music collaboration between their frontline acts, Wax Dey and Master KG.

“My Heart” is a soothing love song delivered in Pidgin English and Khelobedu languages, on an up-tempo tribal dance beat, co-produced by Cameroon’s Method J and Master KG. It is Master KG’s first international collaboration since his big international hit, Skeleton Move, and his first release since winning the AFRIMMA award for best Southern African Artist. The song also introduces new artist, Rose Njoh, in her first professional outing, as she delivers a breathtaking verse in French and Douala.

The video is shot at Le Colisee in Bastos, Yaounde, by maverick director Dr. Nkeng Stephens.

“My Heart” is a song which will rekindle the fire of true and lasting among couples all over the world.

Both singers are billed to perform the song together for the first time on November 23 at the upcoming All Africa Music Awards in Lagos, Nigeria, where Wax Dey is nominated for Best African Pop Artist. They will also be performing together on December 19 at Las Vegas VIP in Douala, Cameroon.

Le chanteur camerounais King Wax Dey collabore avec Master KG de l’Afrique de sud sur un nouveau titre : «My Heart».

OPEN MIC Productions (Afrique du Sud) et Calabash Music (Cameroun) viennent de publiér la collaboration tant attendue de leurs artistes phares, Wax Dey et Master KG.

«My Heart» est une chanson d’amour interprétée en pidgin et en khelobedu, sur un rythme de danse africaine, coproduite par les Camerounais Method J et Master KG. C’est la première collaboration internationale de Master KG depuis son grand succès

international, « Skeleton Move », et son prix AFRIMMA du meilleur artiste de l’Afrique australe. La chanson introduit également une nouvelle artiste, Rose Njoh, qui annonce sa première sortie professionnelle avec un couplet époustouflant en français et en Douala.

Le vidéogramme a été réalisé au Colisee à Bastos, Yaoundé, par le maestro Dr. Nkeng Stephens.

Les deux chanteurs devraient interpréter la chanson ensemble pour la première fois le 23 novembre aux All Africa Music Awards à Lagos, au Nigéria, où Wax Dey est nomine dans la catégorie de meilleur artiste africain en African Pop. Ils préparent également ensemble un spectacle le 19 décembre au Las Vegas VIP à Douala, Cameroun.
