Good morning, Shanghai!
The Sukhothai Running Map 2.0 is back – and our first route of the season is live. Introducing the “Classic Heritage Line” – a 4.5km loop that weaves through the soul of Jing’an and Huangpu, from century-old lane houses to urban green oases.
📍 Route Snapshot (approx. 4.5 km | pace: entirely up to you)
Cha Mansion (Weihai Rd.) → HKRI Taikoo Hui (Nanjing W. Rd.) → Jing’an Sculpture Park (Beijing W. Rd.) → People’s Park (Nanjing W. Rd.)
You’ll start at a historic mansion, glide past a buzzing retail hub, cut through an open-air sculpture garden, and finish deep in the plane-tree shade of People’s Park.
✨ This one’s made for:
Early birds who want to jumpstart the day with a morning jog
Visual runners who love snapping architecture and greenery along the way
Newcomers to Shanghai who want to get to know the city, one stride at a time
🚶♀️🚶♂️ Walk it. Jog it. Run it.
Pace doesn’t matter – your rhythm does. Follow your breath, catch the morning light on Nanjing West Road, pass uncles walking their birds in the park, and catch whiffs of freshly pulled espresso from corner cafés. This is Shanghai, as it should be.
What’s your go-to track for a morning run? Drop it in the comments – we’d love to know 🎧✨
