Most hotel rooms are built around consistency. Once installed, the setup rarely changes, and the bed is expected to perform night after night for a wide range of guests.

From an operational standpoint, that approach makes sense. In practice, though, preferences around support and sleeping positions vary more than a standard setup can accommodate.

MJAI introduces a more flexible bed setup. Built to work with existing bed frames, the system combines adjustable functionality and AI-powered sleep tracking with a supportive mattress and ergonomic design, allowing comfort to be adapted per guest without altering the entire guest room.

As a Silver Partner for Stelliers 2026, MJAI offers hoteliers a more adaptable way of delivering quality sleep within an otherwise fixed room configuration.

Across hospitality, the guest room has remained largely consistent in its structure, even as expectations around comfort and personalisation continue to evolve.

Last Friday night, Stelliers and Wellcare brought together a group of hospitality leaders at Le Comptoir de Pierre Gagnaire at the , Jian Ye Li for an evening of open conversation.

From the realities of operating in Greater China to how guest expectations continue to evolve, discussions moved easily across the tables, shaped by the perspectives of those in the room. Among the ideas introduced was a simple one: with the continued advancement of AI technology, what if sleep could become a more defining part of the guest experience?

A huge thank you to the team at Capella Shanghai for the warm hospitality, to Wellcare for the continued support, and to all who joined us: Albert Servalls, Ronan Henaff, Eddy Zhu, Francis Kuah, Jannis Bahr, Tarik Temucin, Sinan Yilmaz, Sidney Hardy, Dale Parkington,
Matthieu Bertho, Alan Jin, Olivier Dumonceaux, Heidi Tang.

Evenings like this are a reminder that it is the people behind hospitality, and the conversations they share, that continue to move the industry forward.
