Last week, we live streamed the artist, Seven, and Feng Shui master, Gin, in our hotel as they discussed the city of Shanghai, and the ways to tie together Feng shui principles with art and design. Over 2 million people watched the live stream and took part in the event!

Seven is an up and coming artist who has held several individual art exhibitions in Shanghai and works as an arts consultant for the film industry. Gin has been a Feng shui consultant for more than 10 years. Watch the video below!

It's that time again! This week for Meet Cachet Monday, when a member of our staff gives us a few of their recommendations on things to do or see in and outside of Shanghai, Reservations Assistant Manager, Vera, recommends going to , a scenic town two hours out of . Famous for its blue textile dyeing and printing craftwork, its ancient stone bridges, and its traditional timber buildings alongside its canals, Wuzhen is the perfect place to go for a quick trip away from the hustle and bustle of the fast-paced, modern side of China and a glimpse into the fascinating history and culture of this amazing country.

First up: Reservations Assistant Manager, Vera. Vera's job is to ensure everything is set up perfectly for your stay before you even arrive at our front door, whether that means arranging for car pick up service from the airport for you, or helping make special arrangements for your wedding anniversary!

Vera's recommendation today is one of her favorite restaurants in Shanghai: famed vegetarian restaurant, Da Shu Wu Jie, located at 22 Zhongshan East Two Road. Vera's favorite dishes are the lotus root and "Bean Dragon". She says the food, service and prices make it a 'Must See' in Shanghai. We hope you try it next time you're in the city!
