【GEG Actively Promotes Maritime Tourism and Traditional Fishing Culture🚤】
To further showcase Macau’s rich maritime tourism resources and preserve its traditional fishing heritage, has partnered with the Macau Fishermen’s Mutual Help Association to launch the "GEG Sea Cruises: Fishing Heritage Leisure Tour" for the third consecutive year. A total of 10 sessions were held throughout May. Since registration opened, the tour has received an enthusiastic response, attracting over 200 residents and visitors to participate.

🌊Diverse Itinerary: Where Sightseeing Meets Fishing Tradition
Participants began by visiting the Maritime Museum to gain deeper insights into Macau’s rich maritime history and culture, before cruising past iconic landmarks such as the Governador Nobre de Carvalho Bridge and integrated resort, taking in the city’s stunning coastal views. The tour then extended to the area, where participants experienced fishing net weaving and traditional fishing activities firsthand, appreciating the unique charm and valuable heritage of Macau’s traditional fishing culture.

由 #銀娛 冠名贊助，並獲葡萄牙駐澳門及香港總領事館、澳門特區政府文化局及旅遊局支持之「銀河娛樂集團呈獻：『中葡音樂藝術節 澳門-珠海-橫琴 2026』」日前正式揭幕。本屆音樂藝術節首度聯動澳門、珠海、橫琴三地，以「音樂無界、文化共生」為主題，於5月30日至6月8日在「澳門銀河」G Box 及《蒼蘭訣》VR沉浸式體驗館、盧家大屋、珠海藝術職業學院等場地舉辦多場音樂比賽、文化工作坊、古琴展覽及大師班等，藉多元形式深化中葡文化交流，為大灣區及葡語系國家的音樂愛好者搭建展演平台🌐。

Title-sponsored by and supported by the Consulate General of Portugal in Macau and Hong Kong, the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macau SAR Government, and the Macao Government Tourism Office, the “Galaxy Entertainment Group Resents: ‘Luso-Chinese Music Arts Festival Macau-Zhuhai-Hengqin 2026’” officially kicked off recently. Integrating Macau, Zhuhai, and Hengqin for the first time under the theme “Making Friends Through Music, Dueling with Melodies”, the Festival features a variety of music competitions, cultural workshops, Guqin exhibitions, and masterclasses from May 30 to June 8 at various venues, including G Box, the “Love Between Fairy and Devil” VR Immersive Experience Center at Galaxy Macau, Lou Kau Mansion and Zhuhai Art College. These diverse activities aim to deepen Chinese-Portuguese cultural exchanges and bridge music lovers across the Greater Bay Area and Portuguese-speaking countries 🌐.

The opening concert was held at G Box, themed “Sonic Alliance: Musical Battle”, featured a dynamic cross-disciplinary performance blending Chinese and Western music, song, dance, and multimedia elements, with the winning team receiving the “GEG Starlight Award”. Moreover, the Tea Master Team of Galaxy Macau presented an exquisite tea art performance accompanied by Guqin music, showcasing the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture 🎼.

For the 21st consecutive year, organizes team members to participate in the “Macao International Dragon Boat Races”, with seven teams set to compete this June at the Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre 🚣‍♂️. To wish the paddlers a smooth and successful race, GEG held the traditional dragon boat blessing ceremony today, with a group of GEG executives in attendance to rally the team members. During the ceremony, GEG executives performed traditional rituals, including the cleansing and eye-dotting of the GEG dragon boats: Galaxy Stars, Galaxy Pearl, Galaxy Universe, Galaxy Glamour, Galaxy Phoenix, Galaxy Elegance, and Galaxy Pioneer. They also officiated the ceremonial cutting of roasted pigs and presented red packets, wishing them success in the upcoming races💪.

【Register Now | GEG Shipbuilding Cultural Ambassador Programme Returns】
Following the success of last year’s “Galaxy Entertainment Group Shipbuilding Culture Ambassador Programme – Traditional Shipbuilding Class [Beginner Level]” at the Lai Chi Vun Shipyards, will launch the “Traditional Shipbuilding Class [Advanced Level]” this year, offering participants a unique opportunity to explore Macau’s treasured shipbuilding techniques and the rich history behind the industry ⛵️.

Under the guidance of experienced shipbuilding masters who once worked at the Lai Chi Vun Shipyards, participants will attend 13 sessions and handcraft a traditional wooden boat model in the historic shipyard, helping to preserve Macau’s shipbuilding heritage while experiencing the community tourism charm of the revitalized area. This advanced programme requires basic woodworking experience, and interviews will be arranged in late May for assessment. Scan the QR code on the poster for registration details. The “Galaxy Entertainment Group Presents: Literary and Cultural Festival for Parents and Children 'Alphabet & Friends' 2026" continues to offer a diverse series of exciting activities✨. The launch of the bilingual Chinese-Portuguese children’s book “From London to Porto on a Seagull” was recently held, inviting families to embark on a reading journey across borders.

✈️ Ms. Inês Cardoso, author of the book, attended the launch event and shared her creative inspiration and cross-cultural stories, opening a window for readers into the Portuguese-speaking world.

This bilingual work has also been included as another highlight of the festival — the “Mini Library” project. The books are being donated to nearly 20 local schools, enabling more students to discover the charm of Chinese-Portuguese language and cultural integration through reading.

📚 In addition, several festival activities have been designated as official “Reading Points” under the “Macao Just Read • National Reading Week 2026” organized by the Macau SAR Government, supporting the development of a strong cultural and reading atmosphere, encouraging cultural exchange, and bringing the joy of reading into the community.
