The 28th of june 2009 Bed&Breakfast chorro de Quevedo was born: a cozy and upscale boutique-hotel at a two minute stroll from Plaza del Chorro de Quevedo in the heart of the “La Candelaria” district, the historical center of Bogotá, dating back to colonial times. The four-suite hotel is located on one of the oldest cobblestone alleys and at some points during the walk up to the hotel, a glance of

the sky reflects the Eastern Andes encompassing the city of Bogotá. The top floor offers a 360 degree picture of the city and the 3500 meter high contours of the Andes to the East. One can enjoy a magnanimous view indeed. The surroundings of the hotel betray the looks of 'old' Spain and inner cities of Western Europe in general. Bohemia, culture, books and art. Plaza de la Concordia has a covered fruit, meat and produce market, surrounding streets are choked with coffee houses, boutiques and small restaurants. Buzzing with activity all day, the area is bore-proof. Infinite strolls to all directions are called for.
