🌿 Ayahuasca & Somatic Journey-July 8-17, 2026

Hearing something like this…
we receive it with a lot of gratitude.

And at the same time, it touches something very real in us.

Because what you see… is only a part of the story.

Behind it, there are so many moments of doubt,
of not knowing how to meet each other,
of learning, again and again, how to be in relationship,
as partners, as parents, as humans.

It’s not something we’ve figured out.
It’s something we keep practicing. Every day.

Showing up, imperfectly.
Listening. Repairing. Growing.

So yes… we receive these words deeply.
And we also hold them gently,
knowing how much of the path is still unfolding.

The words “safe space” are everywhere right now.
And while the intention behind them is often genuine…
safety is more complex than a label.

A space can be well held.
A facilitator can be skilled.
A group can be supportive.
And still, safety cannot be guaranteed.
Because safety is not only something we create around us.

It’s something our nervous system needs to recognize from within.

This is why the same space can feel grounding for one person…
and overwhelming for another.

Understanding this changes everything
in how we facilitate,
In how we create the foundation of an event,
in how we show up,
and in how we relate to ourselves.

This video was taken on the last day of a retreat, during the closing.
A moment guided by Taita Libardo Yucuna Matapi,
where everything gently comes together.

The dances and chants come from Indigenous traditions of the Amazon, where movement, voice, and rhythm are used to connect to the body, to the earth, and to the group.

They are simple, repetitive, and intentional… inviting everyone to join, feel, and be part of something shared.

You can feel it… the smiles, the lightness, the openness.

After days of sharing, moving, and experiencing together,
there is often a sense of ease in the group.

More trust. More softness. More connection.

A simple moment of joy, gratitude, and being together.

Sometimes people say they found us “by chance.”
But often, it feels more like a moment where something simply aligns; when the timing, the place, and the inner readiness meet.

We see it again and again: people arrive when something in them is ready to open, to explore, or to shift.
Jacob shares a glimpse of that moment.

These days we hear the word healing everywhere.

Healing trauma.
Healing patterns.
Healing our inner child.
Healing for a better life.
Healing for the next generation.

But sometimes I find myself wondering…

What do we actually mean by healing?

The word is used so much that it almost starts to lose its meaning.
Is healing the absence of pain?
Is it becoming a better version of ourselves?
Is it fixing what is broken?

The body doesn’t seem to understand healing in that way.

The body speaks in a different language:
safety, sensation, movement, breath, connection.

For me, the real shift didn’t happen when I tried harder to “heal”.

It happened when I started listening more honestly to my body.

Less fixing.
More relationship.

Maybe healing is not something we achieve.

Maybe it’s something that emerges when we stop forcing change and start paying attention.

People don’t only come here for a retreat.
They don’t only come to follow a program.
They come to live something different.

When people join us, they don’t just attend workshops.
They step for a moment into our way of living.
Sharing meals, walking the land, being with the plants, the animals, the sounds of the forest, the rhythm of the day.

Sometimes it’s beautiful and soft.
Sometimes it’s simple, raw, or a little challenging.

Because life with nature isn’t always comfortable, but it’s real.

And that’s often where something shifts.
Not in a perfect retreat bubble,
but in the small, everyday moments we share together.

This is what we love offering:
not just a retreat, but a glimpse of another way of living.

If you feel called to experience this kind of retreat,
follow along or reach out to learn about the next ones.

“I came out so much lighter, feeling super connected to life, to the territory, and especially to my body.”
— Senna, Netherlands

Senna joined our Ayahuasca & Somatic Journey and even chose to arrive before the retreat began, giving herself time to land, meet us, and feel into the space before stepping into the experience.
In this video, she shares a glimpse of her journey and what the retreat brought to her.
