One of the most famous fungi in the world is the “zombie ant fungus”. It takes over the mind of an ant, causing it to climb up a branch and cling to the underside of a leaf before mummification. Once locked in place, the mushroom-like fruiting body of the cordyceps sprouts from the ant and eventually releases its spores.

I'm sharing a link to a study about touch response & the effects touching have on plants. I wonder if Facebook will call it spam again.

I had in the past read something about this & noticed the lack of touching within my own greenhouse lets my plants show larger potential. Have a nice read.

Research has found that plants are extremely sensitive to touch and that repeated touching can significantly re**rd growth. The findings could lead to new approaches to optimizing plant growth and productivity -- from field-based farming to intensive horticulture production.

Hello Everyone.

This year started off very slow due to the pandemic causing delays & our agency registration expiring while waiting on the ability to move legally so we could resubmit paperwork. As a result a lot of people have been claiming things about our company that simply are not true.

While working on our registration with a good set of air cargo companies, we took a chance on DHL & shipped 4 Philodendron spiritus-sancti & 20 Anthurium warocqueanum to our Canadian representative. He was tasked with delivering the Philodendron spiritus-sancti to clients who had been waiting since before the pandemic which has been a long arduous ordeal for everyone.

DHL had our box for 24 days. The plants came out dead on arrival with literally every one dying within days of shipping. I am currently processing a damages claim with DHL for this shipment.

As such, I decided to hand-carry some plants to the USA to deliver them to clients by hand. Some clients were out of range to be able to hand-deliver & those were shipped via FedEx overnight.

I totally agree this is taking too long after the pandemic, but we are simply chugging along at our limited pace getting things delivered.

Worse is recently Colombia has been going through a national strike which had our stock cut off, so we could not travel to it to pack for shipping. This has been a crazy year.

We have 2 orders going out to China & Singapore next week & the USA next week.

You can see me here on the plane with the plants literally in my lap being flown to LA. The videos are from clients who received plants in LA.

The 2 masked individuals are Canadian clients who received their plants in May

The slightly yellowing plant belongs to an individual in the USA who has since requested a refund due to the plant apparently expiring after delivery. I am slowly working on funds to be able to comply with that request.

Social media can be brutal. People who are not even involved jump in & give their opinions & can literally destroy a business that is honestly just struggling to complete their deliveries during a pandemic.

I am posting these pics to show we are even traveling to deliver orders by hand while we get our shipping situation worked out.

All I ask is please have patience. Shipping is being managed.

Hello Everyone! Here I am with Pak who is Esther's husband. Esther was the client who purchased these plants & sent her husband to pick them up.
Both videos were taken with full consent of the person being video taped.
I am posting 2 videos here of Philodendron spiritus-sancti being hand delivered to clients in Hollywood earlier this month.
While not shown, 2 other clients received their plants as well through FedEx Overnight after I arrived in Hollywood.
As most of you know, Covid 19 put a stop to our deliveries for over a year, & we have had a crazy time trying to get restarted. We should be back working normally by the end of March.
The rest of our USA Philodendron spiritus-sancti will be delivered in April following spring break as plane tickets are ridiculous during the holidays.
Enjoy the videos even though the hotel clerk that helped turned one of them on its side inexplicably.
